About

I'm a commercial and editorial photographer based in San Francisco and available to shoot worldwide. 

Originally from Brazil, I've travelled the world extensively, and I've lived in Sao Paulo, Los Angeles, Melbourne and London, with a stint of a couple of years in the East coast as well. Nowadays, although I still regularly fantasize about moving to New York or Paris, I feel completely at home in Northern California. Here in the West, I am forever inspired by the landscape, the wonderful people, the exquisite food, and the incredible art and design.  A seasoned traveller with incurable wanderlust, I'm always ready to pack my bags at a moments notice. My 'round the world travels have taken me to Southeast Asia, India, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Alaska, Hawaii, and throughout the Americas and Caribbean. I am passionate about new cultures, and I adapt easily to different ways of living and shooting.

My working style is simple: I work hard, I love what I do, and I do everything with love. I approach each project and client with genuine interest and curiosity. I'm known for being extremely enthusiastic, inspired, warm and collaborative. My photographs are expressive and vibrant, but at the same time, clean, calm and soulful. 

I'm also a producer with 15+ years of experience in Film and Advertising and I have a long list of major motion pictures under my belt. I have negotiated and managed projects in the tens of millions, produced alongside well-known Hollywood directors and savvy studio executives, and delivered some of today's most challenging visual effects projects on schedule and budget. You can rest assured that I can tackle a long shot list with the tenacity and commitment of a pro. My strength is that I see, feel and capture images like an artist, but I think, plan, and deliver like a producer.

In 2010, I became the mother of a wonderful little girl. She is my most cherished accomplishment to date. When I'm not shooting or daydreaming about shooting, you can bet that I'm spending some quality time with her and her daddy, my awesome, patient and supportive husband.

In 2013, I published my first photography book via Quarry Books/ Quarto Publishing: "Shooting with Soul: 44 Photography Exercises Exploring Life, Beauty and Self-Expression". So far, thousands of copies have been sold and there are some glorious Amazon reviews out there to boot! The book has also recently been translated to Polish. Dziękuję! As the solo author and photographer of this book, I could not be any prouder of my baby!
